In 1991 Prodigy management decided to censor content. It probably began as an idea for reducing message traffic, but Prodigy started banning negative comments about advertisers and then any public comments about advertisers. Additionally, Prodigy banned profanity and anything else that might offend anybody. Next came a ban on flame wars among members. Soon the service literally outlawed postings that mentioned another member by name.
Eventually every message was examined by censors, and any that violated the rules were deleted. It was a Sisyphean task, and they overdid it. For example, members couldn't use the word "bitch" in a dog breeders' forum. And supposedly discussions of the Roosevelt dime were deleted from a coin-collector's board because there was a member whose screen name was "Roosevelt Dime."
Prodigy members were incensed. Thousands fought back by organizing users into underground e-mail groups. Conversation threads were picked up from the boards and circulated in listserv fashion, with each participant adding comments and passing them on. It was like having to send USENET newsgroups to thousands of recipients several times a day. E-mail traffic swelled to staggering proportions.
Prodigy returned fire with a limit on e-mail messages. If you sent more than 30 messages per month, you had to pay five cents per message. Carbon copies cost a quarter. And the flat rate went up to $14.95. Some members wrote Prodigy advertisers in protest and had their accounts cancelled.

Most of us know that greed is a sin, but Jesus took it much further. He challenged our motivation for work. The New Testament says “covetousness is idolatry”. So the love of money and idols have much in common. God hates them both! Jesus says the ultimate choice is whether we are going to work for God, or work for the purpose of getting money.; we cannot serve God AND mammon at the same time (Mt. 6:24). Which have you chosen: God or money? Maybe it's time to get a different employer!

You can spare sharing your posts with me since you are not willing to discuss and defend your positions openly in a video recorded chat.... I serve a God who said the righteous will never be seen begging for bread. While I do not wish to ADD anything to the Holy Scriptures I would confidently add that He would also not have us regularly eating out of dumpsters and other peoples TRASH! It's a shame you bring God so low. How is this any way to live? In your videos many people are simply dumpster divers! And BEGGING on the street for donations. Talk about getting it ALL WRONG!

Do you follow the Gospel of Jesus or some other false doctrine? Dispensationalism teaches that the true gospel is to be found in the Book of Acts plus Paul's Epistles, and that we can pretty much do away with the teachings of Jesus as found in the four gospels.
This video explores this modern day heresy in the church, which says the timing of when Paul wrote his letters is significant in determining who we should follow. True Christians should be following Jesus; not Paul. Salvation can only be found in the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, all of which are the gospel according to Christ.

Paul is the greatest champion of the NEW AND BETTER COVENANT. I suppose this is why you hate him so much. I thank God every day for the NEW AND BETTER COVENANT that I live in - the one that the Angels even had the desire to look into and that the prophets spoke about for thousands of years! It is indeed a glorious time to be alive! The NEW AND BETTER COVENANT in the Blood of Jesus - the COVENANT OF GRACE! Oh how wonderful it is to be FREE and truly living in the liberty purchased for us by Jesus Christ. I can understand your desire to be a slave to the law-- after all, if you have little faith - it will feel 'right' to you. But remember we are chidren of Abraham not because of the Torah - but because of FAITH. He is the father of our FAITH...and he was not a jew or an israelite... I'm afraid to say my friend but it sounds like you have either a lack of faith or a faith sickness of sorts. It seems you don't believe in what Jesus actually did for you - this is called unbelief and it is deadly. I hope you can turn from this and find true freedom in the real Christ - the same Christ who healed on the sabbath - and on passover gave us the NEW AND BETTER COVENANT in his blood and his broken body. Don't sell Jesus short. It is finished.

I agree that "time" is very important, love the way the airtime monetization works, and would also like this time-concept to be expanded to everything.
My idea would be this: Make the algorithm promote / recommend videos based on their watch time per view. This will level the playing field between old creators (with a lot of subscribers) and new creators. More importantly, it will force content creators to seek out quality subscribers, and not just exchange subscriptions, views, and likes. Because "bad" subscribers will end up hurting the content creator (they comment and like his videos, but only watch them for a few seconds). @batteryaziz @Nic_Cafe

What are your thoughts about opt-in / opt-out advertising? Where both creator/viewer has a choice to do/view ads and viewer gets a % for watching the ad. Advertiser doesn't have to be a brand, it could be another creator. So a big channel can promote a small channel via promoted posts here in the sidebar for example, with consent from both parties & the viewers. The idea is an open marketplace for this, so you can make deals with each other for payment and this helps the value of Tube.
