00:00 Intro

00:37 Number 10. Man in Ice.

There are some things the human body just isn’t designed to do.

For example, we can’t fly, we can’t breathe underwater, and we can’t survive extreme temperatures.

Josef Keberl doesn’t care about the latter though.

This Austrian man is quite accustomed to hanging out in freezing cold temperatures, as a matter of fact, he held the record for the longest stay in ice until it was broken… by himself.

01:27 Number 9. Highest Basketball Throw.

In 2018, Australian YouTubers, “How Ridiculous”, headed out to Maletsunyane Falls in Lesotho Africa, to attempt to make a shot from the top of the falls into a hoop all the way at the bottom, 200 meters below. At first, it seemed like the breathtaking view had them a bit distracted because they spent 5 full days throwing complete air balls.

02:08 Number 8. Highest Shallow Jump.

The step man known as Darren Taylor, takes the plunge and completes the highest shallow dive ever, from eleven point five six meters into only 30 Centimeter depth of pool. The jump was almost as high as a four-story building, and it was estimated that he reached speeds of 33 miles per hour, that’s 53 kilometers per hour, whilst landing into the very shallow and small pool.

02:39 Number 7. 100-Meter Sprint on Fire.

We're all familiar with the usual 100-meter sprint.

However, imagine taking that one step further and doing it while speeding on fire. Anthony was first asked to do a normal charity run by his friends however, he had a much bolder idea and that was to yes, do it while on fire, which is exactly what he did. It is what earned him the fastest sprint, while on fire record.

03:13 Number 6. Most Coconuts Smashed Around A Person While Blindfolded.

Here's a dangerous record that we don't expect anyone to break anytime soon. Karim Jet Singh and Co Jet Singh, both hold the record of 35 coconuts smashed around a person while being blindfolded in just 60 seconds. This record was set back in 2014 and it's yet to be broken.

03:41 Number 5. Free Diving to 590 Feet.

The thing about free diving is that it always looks so peaceful, which is very deceiving to spectators like you and I. It’s actually an incredibly difficult sport that puts your body under an enormous amount of pressure the deeper you go. Alexey Molchanov knows all too well about the mental and physical difficulty involved in freediving because he holds the record for it.

04:26 Number 4. Football Under Control Across Desert.

John Farnworth holds a surprising number of world records involving his skills with a football, but his new one is seriously impressive. He took his football out to the Sahara Desert, one of the most unforgiving places on earth, to attempt the record for crossing the entire Sahara Desert while keeping a football under control the whole way, all this of course taking place over a seven-day period.

05:16 Number 3. Paragliding Tumble Record.

Cappadocia in Turkey is famous for its hot air balloons, and these three pilots decided to make good use of them by attempting to set an incredible paragliding record. Veso Ovcharov, Ondrej Prochazka and Petar Lončar, launched themselves from the balloons and went into a spectacular infinity tumble. To make it even more difficult, they achieved this already very skilled stunt while synchronizing their tumbling with each other. They managed 126 turns in their tumbles and all without colliding with one another, making this just as incredibly difficult to beat as it is beautiful to watch.

06:02 Number 2. BASE Jumping through 8.5 Feet Gap.

As if base jumping wasn’t life-threateningly dangerous enough, Uli Emanuele decided to kick it up a notch… or two

00:00 Intro

00:20 Number 20. Why Margins on Paper?

Paper margins started out as a way to prevent important information from getting eaten by rats in storage!

People kept their writing away from the edges because that’s where rats chewed books and paper when they are in storage.

00:36 Number 19. Pen Cap Hole.

A pen cap has a small hole on the top in case of accidental swallowing. It keeps the airway unblocked.

00:46 Number 18. The Blue Side of the Eraser.

The blue and red parts of the eraser are not for pen and pencil. The red side rubs the pencil particles out of the paper, while the blue side is stiffer and scrubs off a thin layer from the paper itself. That’s why it’s for tougher grades of paper, whether it’s getting rid of pen or pencil.

02:07 Number 12. Lids on Paper and Plastic Cups.

Lids on paper and plastic to-go cups work as coasters. The ring in the middle of the lid is exactly the size to fit the bottom of the cup. The lid also catches dripping condensation from cold drinks!

02:24 Number 11. Loops on Shopping Carts.

The loops on the frame of a shopping cart are for hanging fragile goods - like eggs and fresh bread - so other groceries don’t crush them.

02:49 Number 9. Which Side to Fill Up Gas?

About disappearing messages: https://faq.whatsapp.com/general/chat...

00:00 Intro

01:00 Number 10. Can WhatsApp read or Hear your private messages?

Neither WhatsApp nor Facebook can read your messages or hear your calls with your friends, family, and co-workers on WhatsApp. Whatever you share, it stays between you and the receiver. That’s because your personal messages are protected by end-to-end encryption. WhatsApp declares that they will never weaken this security. If you would like to learn more about WhatsApp security, we will leave a link for you in the description below…

01:33 Number 9. Do WhatsApp keep logs of your calls and messages?

While traditionally mobile carriers and operators store this information, keeping these records for two billion users would be both a privacy and security risk for WhatsApp, so, they don’t do it.

01:52 Number 8. Can WhatsApp See my Shared Location?

When you share your location with someone on WhatsApp, your location is protected by end-to-end encryption, which means no one can see your location except the person you share it with.

02:10 Number 7. Does WhatsApp Share my contacts with Facebook?

When you give WhatsApp permission, they access only the phone numbers from your address book to make messaging fast and reliable. They do not share your contact lists with the other apps Facebook offers.

02:29 Number 6. Can WhatsApp See the Group Content?

WhatsApp use group membership to deliver messages and to protect their service from spam and abuse. They don’t share this data with Facebook for ads purposes. Again, these private chats are end-to-end encrypted so they can’t see their content.

02:51 Number 5. Can I set messages to disappear after I send them?

For additional privacy, you can choose to set your messages to disappear from chats after you send them. If you would like to learn more on how to make your messages disappear, we will leave you a link in the description.

03:12 Number 4. What Data is WhatsApp Actually Collecting?

We spoke to tech expert Arthur Goldstuck to find out if we should really be concerned over WhatsApp’s new policy.

WhatsApp users have been told that they have to accept new terms and conditions if they want to carry on using the app beyond the 8th of February. Now it's fairly normal for companies to update terms and conditions of applications apps services and even websites. We get that every single day. But the difference is that this has been positioned as a kind of ultimatum to users, so that persuades people to look more deeply into it. Also, there's been a lot of noise around the extent of permissions that you have to give. So the combination of those two, has created a lot of fear and some of that fear is justified, but some is overblown. Justifiably people are concerned about the extent of information that can now be collected from you via WhatsApp. But it's not the information itself that's so significant, it's the fact that the information can be combined with the information that Facebook is collecting about you.

06:21 Number 3. Should You Be Concerned About WhatsApp’s New Policies?

The content of your messages is not something to be concerned about unless you're involved in criminal activity, and law enforcement requires the owners of these apps to divulge content of messages. So, it is possible for the content to be accessed, but only in extreme circumstances broadly speaking. The content of any WhatsApp message is encrypted, and cannot be read by anybody else, especially not by Facebook simply to target adv

00:00 Intro

00:55 Number 10. Nature Healed Drastically.

No, we are not talking about those Whatsapp forwards! We are talking facts here, while humans were inside their homes, following the lockdown, mother nature took her time to heal. The United Nations Environment Programme has claimed 2020 to be a super year for nature and biodiversity. Carbon Dioxide emissions dropped down by 17 percent.

Humans have been the dominating species since the beginning of time. While we were away, the wildlife also got to cherish its’ mother Earth. Dolphins, Turtles, Deers, and Nilgais were seen on the streets, enjoying their time.

01:38 Number 9. We Made the Oceans Cleaner.

You probably didn't notice given everything else going on in December, but 14 nations that own 40 percent of the world's coastline just banded together to create the world's biggest ocean sustainability initiative. In other words, an area of ocean the size of Africa will now be focused on restoring fish populations and reefs while eliminating plastic.

02:07 Number 8. Carbon Emissions Fell by The Largest Amount Ever Recorded.

Luckily, there are signs that countries around the world are putting these emissions pause to good use. China, Japan, and South Korea all committed themselves this year to net zero emissions by mid-century. The EU and the UK, locked in Brexit drama, seem to be competing for the greatest emissions reductions by 2030 (pledging 55 percent and 67 percent respectively).

02:39 Number 7. Electric Cars are Speeding Growth.

Part of the reason for declining oil demand this year is the (quietly) roaring success of electric vehicles. Globally, 10 percent of all cars sold in 2020 were EVs — a 28 percent increase in 2019. That's some momentum; sales are predicted to go up again by 50 percent in 2021. The EU is driving much of that sales growth at the moment, but California — the world's largest car culture — just mandated an end to internal combustion engine sales by 2035.

03:21 Number 6. We Saved A Lot of Animals.

The pandemic's likely beginnings in a "wet" food market in Wuhan has forced a rethink on the treatment of other species that go far beyond its point of origin. China's Wildlife Protection Law now applies at sea for the first time, reducing its vast fishing fleet's massive footprint.

That's not all. Back on land, China started protecting the pangolin, the world's most trafficked mammal, which was close to extinction. Interpol launched a massive international crackdown on multiple forms of protected species smuggling.

04:00 Number 5. We Started A Work-From-Home Revolution.

A lot of genies were let out of bottles this year; one of the largest was the number of people who discovered they really don't need to be in the office to be productive. An estimated 3.4 percent of the U.S. workforce was allowed to work at home pre-pandemic, a number that had barely budged from 2.9 percent in 2015. Now, says one Stanford economist, it’s 42 percent. Despite what some office-loving managers might have expected, the sky did not fall.

04:43 Number 4. The Internet Passed Its Ultimate Stress Test.

Of course, such a radical shift would not have been possible without apps like Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, Skype, and the whole gang. More video conferencing took place in 2020 than at any time in human history — for work and for socializing — and amazingly, with a few small exceptions, the infrastructure held up. It's a myth that the internet was designed to be decentralized in order to withstand a nuclear attack, but we now know for a fact that it can survive a global pandemic.

05:22 Number 3. The Covid-19 Vaccine Arrived.

00:00 Intro

00:32 Number 10. 24% for Federal Taxes.

Of course, the advertised amounts are not what winners would end up with. Lottery officials are required to withhold 24% of big wins for federal taxes. The 24% withholding would shave about $106.2 million off before the prize reaches you. And that’s only the start of what you would pay to Uncle Sam and, typically, state funds.

01:02 Number 9. 13% to IRS & 8% State Tax.

The top marginal income tax rate is 37%. If there were no reductions to the winner’s taxable income — such as large charitable contributions — another 13%, or $57.5 million, would be due to the IRS at tax time. State taxes would be on top of that. Depending on where you live, that hit could be more than 8%.

01:34 Number 8. Seek Professional Tax Advice Before You Cash the Ticket.

You have the choice between taking the prize money all at once or having it paid out in 30 installments over 29 years in the form of an annuity. With a lump-sum payment, you must immediately pay tax on the entire amount, says Michael A. Kirsh, a financial planner in New York. With an annuity, you are taxed only as you receive the payments.

02:02 Number 7. Remain Anonymous If Your State Rules Permit It.

Once people know you're suddenly wealthy, you'll be badgered by requests for handouts from everyone from charities to long-lost friends and relatives--not to mention all the financial "experts" who will be vying for your business. So, check state rules to see whether you can dodge them all by remaining anonymous.

02:27 Number 6. Avoid Sudden Lifestyle Changes.

For the first six months after you win the lottery, don't do anything drastic, like quitting your job, buying a home in Europe, trading up for a luxury car, or building a collection of Birkin handbags. Meanwhile, set aside a fixed amount for splurges—it's only natural to want to celebrate your windfall.

02:53 Number 5. Pay Off All Your Debts.

As people say, “there is no better investment than paying off debts”. Whether it is credit card debt or a mortgage, your rate of return equals the interest rate on the loan. When you’ve paid down a dollar of debt, that’s a dollar you no longer owe.

03:14 Number 4. Assemble A Team Of Legal and Financial Advisers.

In situations like this, it's very hard to know who's trying to help you and who's trying to use you. Handpick your own lawyer, accountant, and investment advisor. In effect, the team you put together will function as your board of directors.

03:36 Number 3. Live Within A Budget.

One way to restrain yourself is to only spend income–not principal. Especially in today's investment world, "It takes a lot of principal to generate income and once you start spending principal, the principal quickly dissipates," says Dennis I. Belcher, a lawyer with McGuireWoods in Richmond VA.

04:01 Number 2. Plan Charitable Gifts.

For gifts to a public charity, donors are entitled to an income tax deduction for up to 50% of adjusted gross income for cash contributions and up to 30% for donations of other appreciated assets held for more than 12 months.

04:21 Number 1. Review Your Estate Plan.

If your winnings have made you suddenly wealthy, this may be the first time that you need to plan for estate tax. The 2012 tax law offers more flexibility than ever before. As of 2016, each person has a $5.45 million limit on tax-free transfers, which can be applied during life, when you die, or some combination of the two. So if you want to share some of your largess with family and friends, this is the ideal time to do that.

00:00 Intro

00:42 Number 10. Avoid Sugary Drinks.

When your sweet tooth kicks in, you're often tempted to chug a can of soda or some fruit juice. However, if you're determined to lose weight, this sugary addiction must stop.

It has been proven by doctors from the department of nutrition, at the Harvard School of Public Health, that drinking sugary beverages contributes to being overweight and obese.

01:03 Number 9. Drink Green Tea.

Do you want to burn more fats? According to Dr. Margaret Westar Terp Plantinga, of Maastricht University, drinking green tea may help, because it's loaded with antioxidants called catechins, which enhances its fat-burning capabilities.

01:22 Number 8. Hide Unhealthy Foods.

Apply this rule to unhealthy foods. Out of sight, Out of mind. According to a study by scientists at Ohio State University, you crave unhealthy snacks more when they're within your reach. This finding is reiterated by doctors at Cornell University and VTT Technical Research Center of Finland in their research. Keep unhealthy foods in the cupboard, and not on your countertops. You can switch to healthier options such as a bowl of fruit if you can't stop snacking.

01:55 Number 7. Brush Your Teeth.

More often brushing doesn't only clean your teeth, it can also help in the fight against excess weight if you brush during the day. Around 15,000 people took part in a research project conducted by the Catholic University of Korea, and Korea University. The research showed that there's a link between brushing your teeth and losing weight. Toothpaste removes leftover food from your mouth, and it stops communicating with our receptors. Our brain receives a signal that says lunch is over.

02:30 Number 6. Laugh More.

This isn't a joke. Laughter uses about the same amount of energy as walking since it involves different muscles, especially abdominal ones. Data gathered by a team of researchers at the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University showed that 10 to 15 minutes of laughter a day, can burn 10 to 40 calories. So, we recommend that you watch more comedy shows.

02:58 Number 5. Drink More Water.

We were told time and time again, that drinking enough water speeds up the fat-burning process.

If you're not convinced, a team of scientists from the Humboldt University, and the German Institute of human nutrition, researched this topic. They asked the participants of their study to drink two large glasses of water. As a result, their metabolism became 30% faster, and more efficient. Scientists claimed that, by drinking 1.5 Liters of water more a day, a person can burn around 17,400 calories per year, approximately 1.8 Kilograms.

03:38 Number 4. Follow the Two and A Half Minute Rule.

This rule was established by scientists at Colorado State University, the University of Colorado, and Shultz medical campus. They call it, sprint interval training. It requires a 2.5-minute intense workout every day. The thing is five to thirty seconds of hard exercise during a workout. For example, speeding up while riding a bike, or running on a treadmill, with four-minute breaks may increase your metabolism, and you'll burn an extra 200 calories. Do high-intensity exercise and always give a hundred percent to burn more fat.

04:16 Number 3. Eat Less, but More Often.

It's easy. When you eat frequently, you let your body know that there's no need to accumulate fats.

When we skip a meal, we send the opposite signal, and we tend to eat more. Based on research from the department of nutritional sciences, at the University of Toronto, eating little and often, reduces cholest

00:00 Intro

01:05 Number 5. Freelance Websites.

Businesses and individuals post services on freelance websites that they would like to outsource such as article writing, video editing, app development, coding, and much more.

The beauty of all this is its low barrier of entry, you just have to be good at something.

This is an active income model.

One example of such a website is upworkds.com, which is a website for freelancers.

If there is something that you are good at maybe graphic design or coding or just about any skill, head over to up works, register for free, and start making some money.

01:44 Number 4. Create Online Courses, and Sell them.

Your first question would be. How am I going to create a course! Your second question would be. Where am I going to sell my course?

Well to answer your first question, you can head over to YouTube, and search for a full tutorial about a subject of your choice. Use that content, along with some research on google to create your course.

Once your course is ready, head over to udemy.com.

Udemy is an online course provider with 130,000 online video courses with new additions published every month. They make money from selling online courses, so it's in their best interest to sell as many courses as they can, and this means they actively promote your courses for you.

02:31 Number 3. Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is the process by which an affiliate earns a commission for marketing another person's or company's products. The affiliate simply searches for a product they enjoy, then promotes that product and earns a piece of the profit from each sale they make.

One example of this platform is Clickbank.com. Clickbank is a marketplace for product creators and affiliates to make money online by selling their courses or services to the world. Clickbank only sells digital products, but the beauty about Clickbank is that they pay you as much as 75%, for selling their services, while others pay as low as 5.

Clickbank is just one of many online stores that pay you a commission to get traffic and eventually sales to their online stores.

If Clickbank doesn’t work in your country, you can simply search for many other affiliate platforms that do.

03:25 Number 2. Drop-Shipping.

With drop shipping, what you are basically doing is selling someone else stuff for a small or large profit without having to deal with the shipping.

So basically you are acting like a broker or a middle man. You can do this by opening up a Shopify store and then linking it up with oberlo. Oberlo is basically an app that integrates with Shopify, and it is what a lot of people use to source for stuff that they would like to sell in their stores.

The basic principle of dropshipping is, you create a store or any channel where people can buy stuff from you. Then once they buy something from you, you pay the manufacturer, usually for a lot less than what you got it for, and then have the manufacturer ship it to the customer.

All without you ever seeing or touching the product. The best part of dropshipping is that you set your own price of the product you want to sell, then take the profits and pay the manufacturer the rest.

04:24 Number 1. YouTube.

If you are considering getting into YouTube to make money, you first have to reach the YouTube minimum threshold to get monetized, which is 4000 watch hours, and 1000 subscribers in the last 12 months.

Once you reached that, you can get monetized, which means, YouTube will start paying you for every 1,000 views. That is other than a share of the advertisements that will start
