Weekly Reading in Hebrew

I teach Hebrew on Hive and my lessons cover the letters, meanings, and pronunciation here on the bittube.tv platform.

Welcome to my Hebrew reading & language series.

Genesis 18:27-29

We are listening in on a conversation between a man and the Everlasting. One might wonder how a mortal could feel that at ease with speaking to the King of the universe. I can tell that Abraham felt that way while speaking because he started to apologize for his brave words.

"I am bold speaking to you. Me, only dust and ash."

We hear, "But what if there are fifty , less five, would you destroy the whole city?"

"I will not destroy if I find forty and five."

"And maybe if there are forty?"

"I will not because of the forty."

Thank you for visiting! Read with me as we unfold the story of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob along with clips from the Hebrew film dubbed in English. Click the video link below.
