Else Lasker-Schüler

Else Lasker-Schüler moved to Switzerland in 1933 after the Nazis came to power in Germany. In 1940, she became emperor and lived in the city of Jerusalem. Although life in a foreign land was extremely hard and difficult, it did not kill her love for poetry. There she continued to compose and publish poems that resonated greatly. Her best known work of this time is "Mein blaues Klavier". This poem was published in a Swiss newspaper in 1973. See more: https://chamsocxehoi.org/e
