How To Make Rocket Fuel (First step of amateur rocketry)

In the objective of stimulating young minds with innovative projects and challenges, Micreau decided it was time to expand its catalogue.

After aquaponic systems, Micreau is now working on building a fully automated rocket, made with household items to explore the laws of astrophysics and rocket engineering.

The innovation here is that in certain states or countries, such amateur rocketry is strongly limited by regulation on the sale of oxidizers. Here we explain and demonstrate how one could synthesize such an essential product to space exploration by using products you have at home. This video is to testify the first phase of development.

Now that this first obstacle is dealt with, our next step is to work on the casing of the actual rocket engine.

Once this research and development phase completed, it will be accessible as one of our educational projects, which we offer to schools in the form of workshops, conferences and in-class activities on the subject. We use such projects to illustrate concepts that children see in class in a more interactive and practical form.
